Mix and Match

We wanted the ability to do a little manufacturing on our own, so a couple of years ago, we bought a laser cutter. Our first project may have been a bit ambitious. 

These Mix and Match creatures are screen printed on 1/8" birch plywood, then cut out using our Glowforge laser cutter (which we named Hal, you know, from 2001: A Space Odyssey.) We sandwiched magnets between the front and back of the pieces and – behold – they stick to any metallic surface. Science!

There are five characters, they introduce themselves on their packaging. Just because they are interchangable, doesn't mean they don't have their own personality.
